*Proverbs 3:1-2.My son,do not forget my Law, But Let your heart keep my commands;FOR LENGTH OF DAYS AND LONG LIFE AND PEACE THEY WILL ADD TO YOU.
*King Solomon is reckoned in history as the wisest and most prosperous king.But, many haven't realized the secret to his making that one decision that opened him up to great success.
*King David his father taught him the fundamental principles of life.
*Proverbs 4:10-12.Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many.I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths.When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, And when you run, you will not stumble.
HOW DO YOU HONOUR YOUR PARENTS IN THE LORD AND YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER ?

1.Wise Sons Defends and Justifies their parents . Psalms 127:3-5.
2.Wise Sons reverence and brings glory to the name of their parents.Matt 6:9.
3.Wise Sons obey the instructions and words of their parents.
*Jeremiah 35:1-18.The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord.Go to the house of the Rechabites, speak to them, and bring them into the house of the Lord into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink...Then I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites bowls full of wine, and cups; and said to them,"Drink wine".But they said,"We will drink no wine, for Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, commanded us, saying,"You shall drink no wine, you nor your sons, forever...Thus we have obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, in all that he charged us,to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, or our daughters....And Jeremiah said to the house of the RECHABITES, "THUS SAYS THE LORD, THE GOD OF ISREAL:'"BECAUSE YOU HAVE OBEYED THE COMMANDMENT OF JONADAB YOUR FATHER."JONADAB THE SON OF RECHAB SHALL NOT LACK A MAN TO STAND BEFORE ME FOREVER".
Anyone who in honour to his parents obey their wise instructions only makes room for that house to be established forever.But fools like Hophni and Phineas of Eli's household will scatter their house only to inherit the wind.1 Samuels 2:30-36.(To be continued....).
PRAYER:May my father's house be established by my obedience to his wise counsel in Jesus name, amen.
