Federal Government should launch a full-scale investigation on Abubakar Audu's Death

The former  Minister of Works, Chief Adeseye Ogunlewe, on Monday, Nov. 23, said the sudden passing of the candidate of the All progressives Congress (APC) in the uncertain governorship race, Prince Abubakar Audu, ought not be overlooked.

He said the Federal Government ought to dispatch a full-scale examination concerning his demise, proposing that the legislator's passing when he was at the precarious edge of winning the survey is suspicious.

"There must be an examination concerning Audu's passing. He can't kick the bucket futile. There must be an examination concerning the matter. Are there no healing facilities in Nigeria that can direct a post-mortem examination?

"I think injustice in light of the fact that the man was not debilitated. Didn't he have specialists? Somebody was going to win a decision and he kicked the bucket bafflingly? Who was with him when he passed on? Individuals ought to make inquiries. The matter must be explored. There must be a dissection report," Ogunlewe told Punch.

Audu passed on Sunday, Nov. 22, of a heart assault after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) pronounced the race, in which he was in clear lead, uncertain.
