TOPIC : THE NAME OF JESUS ( 2 ).
*ACTS 10:43.To Him all the prophets witness that, through HIS NAME (JESUS), whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.
*ACTS 4:12.Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
*The name Jesus simply means Saviour or Messiah.
*This man Jesus, has been made the sin-offering that men should be freed from the power of sin, it's guilt and the consequences.Isaiah 53:10.
*Jesus is the only name given under heaven by God, in which men are saved.
*The devil will have many Christians discuss on any other subject matter with people but will always constrain them through fear, threat, or making them feel insecured or mocked as to make them not to discuss that name.
*ACTS 4:17-18.But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.So they called them and commanded them NOT TO SPEAK AT ALL NOR TEACH IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
*There is something about the name of Jesus that threatens the demonic world, which makes them do everything to stop that name from spreading.
*PHILIPPIANS 2:9-11.Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,that at the name of JESUS every knee should bow, of those in heaven,of those on earth and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
*Friends, this is why the devil and the wicked world wants your mouth shut from speaking of that name or believing in the name of Jesus.
*How can men believe and call on his name to be saved, if you don't cause them to gain faith by hearing and hearing again of the name of Jesus.
*Luke12:8-9."Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the Angels of God.But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.
*Receive boldness from this day you Christian brother to speak of that name in season and out of season. (....To be continued).
PRAYER:Now Lord, look to their threats, and grant me that with all boldness to speak the name of Jesus.Acts 4:29.
