Agents of the Abia State Police Command have captured a minister, Onyenweaku Chibunnam, for supposedly taking a Toyota Camry in Ebem Ohafia people group, of the Ohafia Local Government Area of the state.
Chibunnam was captured with an assistant, Prince Nnabugwu, who admitted that they had a place with an auto grabbing syndicate.
Parading the suspects at the Police Officers Mess in Umuahia, the state capital, the Commissioner of Police in Abia State, Leye Oyebade, said the suspects were captured in the wake of taking the Toyota Camry from where its proprietor stuffed it last Saturday.
Oyebade included that the suspects, who were captured on Sunday in view of a tip-off, admitted to have stolen six Toyota Camry autos from Aba and sold some of them to one Maxwell in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
Chibunnam, who is the author of another era church recognized as the Assembly of the Redeemed at Ohafia, said they didn't grab the auto, however stole it from where it was stopped.
