23-year-old woman: stabs fiance to death



The Ogun State Police Command has captured a 23-year-old woman, Abosede Omolare, for professedly wounding her life partner, Sadiq Dauda, to death amid a contention. The Command's Public Relations Officer, Mr. Abimbola Oyeyemi, told a news meeting on Friday in Abeokuta that Omolare was locked in to wed Dauda in December. He said that the presume carried out the wrongdoing at Onirugba St. in Ijebu-Ode on Tuesday and was captured around the same time. The PPRO clarified that the occurrence took after minor difference over affirmation of blunder of assets from the gas business which the late Dauda endowed to the suspect. Oyeyemi said Oyelare asserted that her late life partner, her identity living with, beat her up and sent her away. He said that Oyelare returned home on the welcome of her life partner's mom who guaranteed to mediate. He said "She expressed that instantly she returned home, her life partner plummet on her, beat her hardheartedly and broke a container with which he debilitated to cut her. "She conceded that it was then she took a kitchen cut and cut him on the rib." Oyeyemi said that Dauda, who was draining lavishly, was conveyed to Igbeba Divisional Police Post in Ijebu-Ode. He added that policemen surged him to Ijebu-Ode General Hospital where he passed on Wednesday. The PPRO said the case had been exchanged to the Homicide area of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligent Department for further examination. (NAN)
